Meet the New Faces of art|Works Initiative: Welcoming Sage Santiago and Jocelyn Hittle
How Our New Team Members Will Support Artists and Strengthen Our Expanding Community
art|Works Initiative is an initiative of inWorks LLC, its parent company. Predominantly focused on technology, inWorks wanted to offer business and tech solutions to artists in the local community.
InWorks LLC currently operates at The Longview Farm, where Ilya Lehrman, owner of the company, resides. The Team behind art|Works Initiaitive is especially excited about The Longview Gallery that opened its doors here on the farm last April, 2024, for all of the potential it offers our artist members and the local arts community at large.
As we expand our farm offerings and community events, our team is evolving under the stewardship of two fresh voices dedicated to clarity, innovation, and new ideas. We want to formally introduce ourselves, so you know exactly who’s behind your newsletters, who you’re reaching out to for assistance, and who you might meet at a Longview event.
Sage Santiago
When I am surrounded by the community and artists who inhabit the space around me, I feel at home. Community is a driving force that is tremendously important to me, although I am an introvert most of the days, I find a lot of comfort and joy in taking up space with those around me.
I started my true life once I began work in an enchanted forest that will forever live in my heart and dreams. Finding purpose, connection and a million different skills that have helped me discover some of my passions in this life.
Now I have begun a new journey here at art|Works initiative I get to be a guide for artists to turn their wishes into reality along with our wonderful team! I am here to uplift the community and find new and innovative ways to share this community's joy and visions with the world!
As a Marketing Specialist at art|Works Initiative, I take the lead on identifying and understanding our artist and micro-business members’ aspirations and goals to drive a clear business plan and brand for their creative journey. I bring unique networking experience to the team with a deep understanding for the artist experience.
Jocelyn Hittle
I feel most in my element when I am making mistakes - it is the best way to learn. On my worst days, a mistake-maker is all that I am; on my best days, it is all that I aspire to be.
I am always yearning to learn anything new. I have always been the most ‘me’ as a student, and my approach to the professional horizons is that of an acolyte. I live off of the thrill of discovery and the art of doing.
I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Religious Studies because I want to examine the communities of the world in their fullest state: when they are creating, and when they have faith.
I have cultivated years of creative media management and strategy experience, always striving to portray people in an honest and complete way.
As a marketing specialist at art|Works Initiative, I cast my net into the odds and ends of art communities and share creative solutions to common problems through art|Hub. Most of all, I always have one eye directing towards home base: I anchor our messaging into the core mission of art|Works.
Stronger Together: How We Collaborate
Sage and Jocelyn are opposite ends of the same coin. Their professional careers collided when Jocelyn joined the art gallery and gift shop that Sage had helped forge and their complementary traits, aspirations, and attitudes were immediately apparent.
Sage and Jocelyn cultivate a team mentality, each bringing something unique to the table while sharing a common drive for success.
They supplement each other in ways that make their collaboration both dynamic and harmonious. They turn challenges into opportunities and build a professional bond rooted in mutual respect and admiration.
You can find us at The Longview Gallery every Friday for “Work from the Office Fridays.” As well as any Wednesday, when our doors are open for Office Hours with our IT team; stop by if you have any questions or need help troubleshooting any IT issues.
Expanding Our Reach: What’s Next for art|Works Initiative
As we continue to evolve, we’re excited to share some of the ways we’re expanding our impact in the arts community. Our mission has always been to empower artists with the business and technological tools they need to thrive, and we’re taking that commitment even further with a rebrand and new partnerships.
Casting a Wider Net: A Rebrand in Motion
We’re refreshing our look and refining our mission to better serve creative professionals at every stage of their journey. Our rebrand isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about accessibility, inclusivity, and ensuring that more artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs can tap into the resources they need to succeed.
Expect a more streamlined experience, new educational content, and expanded support for not only artists, but any independent professionals and micro-businesses in search of structured resources for their business.
Strengthening Local Partnerships
We’re forging deeper connections with local arts businesses, offering business and technology support that extend beyond individual artists.
Through business-to-business connections, we’re working with galleries, print shops, studios, and other local creative enterprises to provide tailored solutions that help their customers—artists, designers, and makers—build sustainable careers.
By acting as a bridge between creative businesses and their end users, we’re fostering a stronger, more interconnected arts ecosystem.
This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to share more in the coming months. Stay tuned for new opportunities, collaborations, and ways to be part of our growing creative community!
Together, We are dedicated to helping the members of art|Works do what they do best: create, innovate, and inspire.
